Today I wore for the first time a cloth I've been watching for a long time, a coat really vintage, stolen from my aunt, it belong to my grandmother, an original overcoat, straight from the 40s! Boiled wool, military green with gold buttons, a unique piece from an ancient taste, I love to take out old clothes from the closets of others and give them new life, the smell that you breathe dipping the nose in these old memories is unique and intense, it says a story and every time an intense emotion, Is that why I love vintage so much? In order to give a grunge mood, typical of the style that belongs to me, I paired an old pair of boyfriend jeans (they have been stolen from a wardrobe of someone else too!) wide lapels, Gio's green sweater (which you've already seen HERE in a very similar mood), black laced ankle boots and my necklace with the clock owl. I'm not entirely sure that visually it works out, but what is certain is that old clothes with a story behind are a too intense emotion ;-)

Oggi ho indossato per la prima volta un capo che tenevo d'occhio da tempo, un cappotto davvero vintage, rubato dall'armadio di mia zia e appartenuto alla mia bis nonna, un paltò originale, direttamente dagli anni '40! In lana cotta, colore verde militare e con bottoni dorati, un capo unico dal sapore antico, amo ripescare vecchi abiti dagli armadi altrui e dar loro nuova vita, il sapore che si respira tuffando il naso in questi vecchi ricordi è unico e intenso, racconta una storia ed è ogni volta un'emozione intensa, sarà per questo che amo così tanto il vintage? Per dare un mood grunge, tipico dello stile che mi appartiene, ho abbinato un vecchio paio di boyfriend jeans (anche loro rubati da un'armadio altrui!) con ampio risvolto, un maglioncino verde di Gio (che avete già visto QUI in un mood molto simile), tronchetti neri stringati e la mia collana con l'orologio gufo. Non sono del tutto sicura che visivamente l'insieme funzioni, ma quello che è certo è che ripescare abiti con una storia alle spalle è un'emozione troppo intensa per non decidere di concedermela ogni tanto ;-)
