Walk Of Life - Mixelchic and Telethon at the forefront of research support for the treatment of genetic diseases. When I was contacted by the Telethon Foundation to participate in the charity marathon Walk Of Life, in support of research for the treatment of genetic diseases, I immediately accepted with enthusiasm. Although I am not particularly sporty, the idea of ​​supporting such an important project involved me totally  from the beginning pushing me to throw myself into it. This morning, Sunday September 29th 2013, me and a crowd of runners and amateurs, we met in the beautiful Arena Civica in Milan to run a non-competitive race of 3 km. The entire investment is aimed for supporting the research for the treatment of genetic diseases, by the Telethon Foundation, which has worked for years to give a concrete answer to those who fight against genetic diseases. Unfortunately, I was stuck by an annoying fever that, however, didn't prevent me from being there at the competition by supporting the Walk Of Life, because I really believe that a race can really save a life. 

This is the second edition of the Walk Of Life, running in different places in Italy, we look forward to the next edition in which we will continue to give our concrete support, who is ready to run with me a "race for life"?

Walk Of Life - Mixelchic e Fondazione Telethon in prima fila nel sostegno alla ricerca per la cura delle malattie genetiche. Quando sono stata contattata da Fondazione Telethon per partecipare alla maratona benefica Walk Of Life, a sostegno della ricerca per la cura delle malattie genetiche, ho accettato subito con entusiasmo. Nonostante io non sia particolarmente sportiva, l'idea di sostenere un progetto così importante mi ha coinvolta sin dall'inizio spingendomi a buttarmi nell'impresa. Questa mattina, Domenica 29 settembre 2013, io e una folla di podisti ed amatori, ci siamo incontrati nella splendida Arena Civica di Milano per correre una gara non competitiva di 3 km. L'intera quota di partecipazione è finalizzata al sostegno alla ricerca per la cura delle malattie genetiche, a cura della fondazione Telethon, la quale opera da anni per dare una risposta concreta a chi combatte contro una malattia genetica.  Purtroppo sono rimasta bloccata da una febbre fastidiosa che non mi ha però impedito di essere presente alla competizione sostenendo il progetto Walk Of Life, perchè in questo caso, grazie a Fondazione Telethon e a tutti coloro che hanno deciso di dare il loro sostegno al progetto, credo davvero che una corsa possa salvare una vita. 

La Walk Of Life è alla sua seconda edizione, corsa in diverse città d'Italia, noi attendiamo con ansia la prossima edizione alla quale continueremo a dare il nostro concreto sostegno, chi è pronto a correre con me una "corsa per la vita"?

Red is the color of passion. No doubt about it. But it is also funny, intense, funny, it gives power and grants a good touch of peculiarity to a simple outfit. To create this look I started from the detail of this color: my red glossy patent leather boots inspired by the famous Dr. Martens, the shoe is typical of the '90 students (one generation before mine, I got the degree in the new millennium). I decided to keep the outfit on a college style, I like to feel a little baby especially when I'm with my Gio :-) Here is a comfortable and warm colorful sweater Le Coq Sportif, burgundy socks and wheel skirt, nerd glasses and natural hair for a Sunday away from the hustle of my beautiful but chaotic Milan.

Il rosso è il colore della passione. Non ci sono dubbi. Ma è anche allegro, intenso, divertente, dà la carica e garantisce una bella dose di particolarità ad un outfit semplice. Per creare questo look sono partita proprio da un dettaglio di questo colore: i miei anfibi rossi in vernice lucida ispirati ai celebri Dr. Martens, la scarpa tipica degli studenti anni '90 (una generazione prima della mia, che ho frequentato l'università laureandomi nel nuovo millennio). Ho deciso di mantenere l'outfit su uno stile college, mi piace sentirmi un po' baby specialmente quando sono con il mio Gio :-) Ecco quindi una comoda e calda felpina coloratissima di Le Coq Sportif, calzettoni burgundy e gonnellina a ruota, occhiali nerd e capelli al naturale per una passeggiata domenicale lontano dalla frenesia della mia bella ma caotica Milano.

It is known by all of you who know me well now, how often I like to pull out my hard side, playing with a strong and dark item, like this black lethater skirt and my black suede sandals with plateau. Unfortunately, I can never really be a "tough guy", my softer side tends to reclaim his place, and here it is represented by the romantic pastel roses embroidered texture on my sweater (not a simple jumper, but a harder soul). For all of us who have always struggled in life, between sacrifices and achievements, to get our place in the world, playing with a strong image is indispensable. We take then a item, that item that we love so much because it represents our strength and our determination to face the world, and show it with pride. Add, however, always a touch of sweetness, goodness (truthful!) and humility (real!); without these qualities we won't get anywhere :-)

Sarà noto a tutti voi, che ormai mi conoscete bene, quanto spesso mi piace tirare fuori il mio lato grintoso, giocando con un capo forte e dal sapore un po' dark, come questa gonnellina in pelle nera e i miei sandali in suede con plateau. Purtroppo però non riesco mai ad essere davvero una "dura" in piena regola, il mio lato tenero tende a reclamare il suo posto, ed eccolo quindi rappresentato dalla texture romantica a rose pastello ricamate sulla mia felpa (felpa e  non semplice maglione, quindi con l'animo più strong). Per tutti noi che nella vita abbiamo sempre lottato, districandoci tra sacrifici e conquiste, per arrivare a guadagnare il nostro posto nel mondo, giocare con un'immagine forte è indispensabile. Prendiamo quindi un capo, quel capo a cui possiamo affezionarci perchè rappresenta la nostra forza e la nostra grinta nell'affrontare il mondo, e sfoggiamolo con orgoglio. Aggiungiamo però sempre un tocco di dolcezza, bontà (sincera!) ed umiltà (vera!); senza queste altrimenti non arriveremmo da nessuna parte :-)

One of my "favorites" for the upcoming season, it is definitely the male broad-brimmed hat, even better if enriched with a strong detail. In these shots I'm wearing just what was my last purchase, a panama hat with metal crosses. I paired a black leather gilet, a sleeveless studded leather jacket, ripped jeans and black suede t-bar. I wear the outfit in a quite creeping location, this is what I thought when I found myself in front of it, and then I made the decision about the mood: let's rock! :-)

Uno dei miei "preferiti" per la prossima stagione, è sicuramente il cappello maschile a tesa larga, ancora meglio se arricchito da un dettaglio strong. In questi scatti indosso proprio quello che è stato il mio ultimo acquisto, un modello panama con croci in metallo. Ho abbinato un gilet in pelle nera, quasi un chiodo smanicato, jeans ripped e t-bar in suede nero. Indosso l'outfit all'interno di una location decisamente inquietante, almeno, questo è quello che ho pensato quando mi ci sono ritrovata di fronte, e allora ho preso la decisione sul mood: let's rock! :-)

Every stroke of the spray is associated with a piece of the heart of those who have sprayed ... I crouched on the ground, wrapped in the warm glow of my big sweatshirt Kontatto, I wore hot leather leggings and colorful sneakers Le Coq Sportif, a distinctive mark on the head : the signed baseball cap New Era, cult brand of street urban style and hip-hop culture . My ring Mixelchic designed and made in collaboration with Nove25 has completed the outfits giving me the thrill of being able to really be myself ... free .

Do or Die - Fai o muori. Una filosofia con cui ho affrontato la mia vita e che ho trovato riflessa in alcune persone incontrate sulla mia strada nell'ultimo periodo. Persone che si sono rivelate essere, inaspettatamente lo specchio di ciò che sono ... e che sono stata. Una persona forte e fragile al contempo, come una lastra composta di frammenti di cristallo riassemblati con un mastice potente: dura da distruggere ma semplice da scalfire. Ho attraversato mille percorsi, vissuto mille vite senza fermarmi mai, fino ad arrivare fino a qui. E ho sempre agito, spesso ancora prima di pensare, sapendo che quando non hai nulla allora non hai nulla da perdere, buttati. Avrai sempre il tempo per il rimorso verso ciò che hai fatto, non concederti anche quello per il rimpianto delle cose non fatte. Le imprese sono fatte per essere compiute, le follie sono fatte per essere vissute. Ogni azione lascierà un segno, non fermarti troppo a pensare, usa la testa solo per agire e se qualcosa davvero ti interessa allora corri e prendila, falla tua e prendi dalla vita tutto il meglio, con le unghie e con i denti se necessario, che lei sia d'accordo oppure no.
Spesso, forse troppo ultimamente, sento la forte necessità di estraniarmi dall'immagine che ho cucito addosso alla mia persona e respirare l'odore di strada, colorato e pungente, che mi fa sentire così a casa ... Mettete una sera di settembre, fresca e leggera, un sottopassaggio deserto e fari alogeni che diffondono una luce pungente, attorno mille graffiti coloratissimi, intensi, che raccontano mille diversi pezzi di storie. Ad ogni colpo di spray si associa un pezzo del cuore di chi lo ha spruzzato... Mi sono accoccolata a terra, avvolta dalla luce calda e dalla mia maxi felpa Kontatto, ho indossato caldi leggings in pelle e sneakers colorate Le Coq Sportif, sulla testa un marchio distintivo: il cappellino da baseball firmato New Era, brand cult dello street urban style e della hip - hop culture. Il mio anello Mixelchic disegnato e realizzato in collaborazione con Nove25 ha completato l'outfit regalandomi l'emozione di poter essere davvero me stessa ... libera.

Della mia VFNO - Vogue Fashion Night Out, a Milano, vi racconto il backstage, per farvi vivere questa avventura attraverso i miei occhi, con tutta la realtà di ciò che vissuto, sentito, ammirato e condiviso :-) Prima tappa da Hip - Hop Watches per scambiare due chiacchere con Enzo (Miccio) e Carla e scattare qualche foto insieme con i nostri orologi Hip - Hop new collection: tanto tartan, camouflage e mix fluo per una collezione variegata e giovane ma con un tocco chic. Seconda tappa da Momo Design per dare uno sguardo ai nuovi caschi, in particolare al nuovo modello in vernice satinata verde opaco, perfetto da abbinare alla Hypermotard protagonista del progetto New Business (QUI) che, insieme a Rappresèntati, stiamo portando avanti. Terza ed ultima tappa da Manas, dove ci siamo soffermati più del previsto a "causa" dell'ottima accoglienza, calda e dal sapore leggero di "quattro chiacchere tra amiche"; abbiamo ammirato una collezione dalla quale sono rimasta affascinata: raso a texture floreale, glitter, tessuto rete e suede nero accostato a oro effetto metal, sono letteralmente impazzita! :-)
In occasione di questa edizione della VFNO (Vogue Fashion Night Out)  sono stata accompagnata da persone stupende, nuove conoscenze, new entry del team, amici che nella mia vita ci sono sempre stati e personaggi che sono stata super felice di aver riabbracciato :-)

Per la serata indossavo un (quasi) total look OVS: maxi t-shirt indossata come un minidress, bracciale in cuoio nero con borchie, collana a punte metalliche. Sandali in suede nero Primadonna.

Last Thursday I had the opportunity to go to one of the most bizarre and creative party I've ever attended. Havaianas, the Brazilian brand that you've already heard HERE and HERE, presented the new collection of rain boots F / W 13-14 in an unusual location, a colorful nursery. With boots on and under the guidance of an expert, which is necessary because of my incompetence, me and a group of journalists and bloggers we were able to transplant herbs, discovering the secrets of gardening. I've never been keen on gardening, but I find the idea of matching rain boots to gardening really brilliant, perfectly in line with the communication line and the spirit of the brand Havaianas: colorful and cheerful, couldn't I accept the challenge? Guess which boots I chose in  the end :-)

Lo scorso giovedì ho avuto l'occasione di fare un salto ad uno dei party più bizzarri e creativi a cui abbia mai partecipato. Havaianas, il brand brasiliano di cui mi avete già sentito parlare QUI e QUI, sempre con entusiasmo, ha presentato la nuova collezione di rain boots F/W 13 - 14 all'interno di un' insolita location, un coloratissimo vivaio. Indossati gli stivali e sotto la guida di un'esperta, necessaria vista la mia incompetenza, io ed un affiatato gruppo di giornaliste e blogger siamo riuscite a trapiantare piante aromatiche, scoprendo i segreti del gardening. Non ho mai avuto il pollice verde, ma trovo l'idea di abbinare i rain boots al gardening davvero geniale, perfettamente in linea con la linea comunicativa e lo spirito coloratissimo ed allegro del marchio Havaianas, in così tanta allegria potevo forse tirarmi indietro? Indovinate quali stivali ho scelto alla fine :-)

This Sunday, me and Gio had the pleasure of being invited at the opening of Modissima, the exhibition dedicated to fashion design promoted by Golfart, held in Turin, in the beautiful palace Unimanagement, owned by Unicredit. The exhibition has gathered several creations by designers from Turin ranging from fashion to jewelry design, capturing my attention on truly special items. Fluorescent colors and fetish details but also very good etiquette, white and ultra-feminine shapes for a fall / winter collection that can really satisfy all your needs. What most caught my attention were the small details that I could elect perfect for the upcoming season: fur caps with underneck collar, shirt with hood (must!), the painted wicker micropchette (the wicker decontextualized leaves the beaches and accompanies a beautiful coat, what do you say?) and fetish chic jewelry inspired by the fantasy of Guido Crepax, one of my favorite artists. The exhibition was enriched with a room dedicated to the Contemporary Turkey, an exhibition of photographs and paintings made ​​by artists of Turkish origin, in order to illustrate the new languages ​​and developments of contemporary Turkey. For the day I wore my black maxidress, already seen HERE and HERE, crop beige pull, studded leather jacket and my favorite clutch, can you guess where the inspiration comes from?

Durante questa Domenica io e Gio abbiamo avuto il piacere di essere presenti all'apertura di Modissima, l'esposizione dedicata al fashion design promossa da Golfart, tenutasi a Torino, all'interno del bellissimo palazzo di Unimanagement, di proprietà Unicredit. La mostra ha raccolto diverse creazioni di designer di origine torinese spaziando dal fashion al jewelry design, catturando la mia attenzione su capi davvero particolari. Colori fluo e dettagli fetish ma anche molto bon ton, bianco e forme super femminili per una collezione fall/winter in grado di soddisfare davvero tutte le esigenze. Ciò che più ha colpito la mia attenzione sono stati piccoli dettagli che potrei decretare perfetti per la prossima stagione: i cappucci in pelo con catenelle sottogola, la camicia con cappuccio (must!), le micropochette in vimini verniciato (decontestualizzato il vimini abbandona le spiaggie e accompagna un bel cappotto elegante, cosa ne dite?) e i bijoux fetish chic ispirati alla fantasia di Guido Crepax, uno dei miei artisti preferiti. L'esposizione è stata arricchita da una sala dedicata alla sezione Contemporary Turkey, una mostra di opere fotografiche e pittoriche realizzate da artisti di origine turca, per illustrare i nuovi linguaggi e sviluppi dell'arte contemporanea turca. Per la giornata ho indossato il mio maxidress nero, già visto QUI e QUI, crop pull beige, chiodo in pelle e la mia clutch preferita, riuscite ad indovinare a chi è ispirata?

Un ciondolo spiritoso, scritte fluo e mini stretch nera: il mio mix anni '80 per affrontare un aperitivo sulla spiaggia; queste foto risalgono allo scorso mese, quando ancora sentivamo il profumo dell'estate e riguardarle mi fa sentire di nuovo l'aroma del sale sulla pelle ... Inoltre penso che il mix anni '80 sia vincente anche per la prossima stagione, siete d'accordo?

Il rosa è il colore femminile per eccellenza, dolce e romantico riesce a farmi sentire una principessa d'altri tempi. Ordinary day - with Nike, Colmar, Sennheiser and Tie Dye - A mix and match that mixes different styles and colors creating a mixture of items looking for comfort. I wore my new pants Tie Dye matching them to my sneakers Nike Air Max (exclusive for Foot Locker) and a large minidress. Unluckily on the lake, where we were for an afternoon away from the chaos, it started to rain, and that's why I'm wearing my k-way technical fabric of Colmar, a useful lifeline :-) In these moments I love to enjoy the ultimate relaxation, isolate myself maybe with a little music and I always wear, in these shots, Sennheiser headphones, maximum sound performance!

Una giornata ordinaria - con Nike, Colmar, Sennheiser e Tie Dye - Un mix and match che mescola colori e stili diversi creando un miscuglio di capi volti solamente alla comodità. Ho indossato i miei nuovi pants Tie Dye abbinandoli alle mie sneakers Nike Air Max (un'esclusiva per Foot Locker) e ad un minidress ampio. Sfortunatamente sul lago, dove ci trovavamo per un pomeriggio lontani dal caos, ha iniziato a piovere, ed ecco il perchè del mio k-way in tessuto tecnico di Colmar, un utile ancora di salvezza :-) In questi momenti adoro godermi il massimo relax, isolandomi magari con un po' di musica e per farlo fino in fondo indosso, in questi scatti, cuffie Sennheiser, il massimo della resa sonora!

Questo post nasce sostanzialmente da una follia: una gonna elegante ed un pull in una location non convenzionale. Ho acquistato questa gonna lunghissima (forse troppo per me che supero appena il metro e 60 ahimè!) durante gli ultimi saldi da H&M, così bianca, elegante, con dettagli in pizzo, come potevo non darle attenzione? E così ho deciso di portarla con me durante un'escursione alla "spiaggia nera", una lunghissima distesa di sabbia nera, perché contaminata da minuscole particelle ferrose, nascosta in un'insenatura alle spalle di un castello. Ho giocato alla "Diva" retrò, indossando la mia gonna lunghissima, bikini animalier ed un morbido cardigan in leggero micromodal per ripararmi dal vento. 

Ecco qui il risultato del nostro gioco.

Uno dei nuovi progetti che non vedevo l'ora di svelarvi è l'inserimento, all'interno del blog Mixelchic.it, di una serie di post dedicati alla cura del proprio corpo, in particolare a quelle piccole coccole da dedicare ai nostri capelli, i primi a manifestare a gran voce chi siamo e chi vogliamo essere. Per dare il via a questa nuova serie vi regalo una piccola sorpresa: un'intervista esclusiva rilasciata da Serena Corani, Resposabile Comunicazione Jean Louis David Italia. Mi trovo super d'accordo con la sua idea di "Back to", rivisitare look del passato ci regala una femminilità nuova, ci spinge ad essere romantiche come una lady '50s, ribelli come una punk '80s, spiritose in stile "Hair Spray" anni '60, insomma, noi stesse. Pronte a tirare fuori la vostra vera femminilità? La mia quest'anno sarà sicuramente calcata su forme, colori e design anni '80, e voi quale epoca scegliete per liberare il vostro stile?

Intervista a Serena Corani, Resposabile Comunicazione Jean Louis David Italia

Last month, during my trip in Umbria, I had the opportunity to get in touch with one of the creations by Enrico Coveri: ankle boots with metal effect. I was fascinated by metal last winter, with the creations of Burberry Prorsum, so I could not remain indifferent to these tooled leather boots, purple with iridescent black patent leather heel, a rock item to match with leather pants and trench coat for the next season, a revival 80's effect.

Lo scorso mese, durante il mio viaggio in Umbria, ho avuto l'occasione di "scontrarmi" con una delle creazioni di Enrico Coveri: gli ankle boots effetto metal. Sono rimasta affascinata dal metal lo scorso inverno, con le creazioni di Burberry Prorsum, non ho quindi potuto restare indifferente di fronte a questi boots in pelle lavorata, viola cangiante con tacco in vernice nera, un pezzo rock da abbinare a pants in pelle e trench per la prossima stagione, per un effetto revival 80's.

Tiger on my tee - One of the must-haves of my summer, I will definitely wear it again next winter, perhaps with ripped jeans or leather skirt, the tee is printed with the face of a tiger. To create this look I started right from this wide and asymmetrical shirt, lightweight fabric with hard printing, I decided to make this shirt lead character matching it with mini black stretch skirt, very '80s and silver open toe wedges. I wore this outfit during an aperitif at the port of Riva di Traiano, in the province of Rome, at sunset, when the sun sends a warmer and thinner light while boats rock on the water with that sound that I love so much.

Una tigre sulla mia T-shirt - Uno dei capi must della mia estate, che vorrò sicuramente indossare anche il prossimo inverno, magari con ripped jeans o gonnellina in pelle, è la tee con stampato il volto di una tigre. Per creare questo look sono partita proprio da questa canotta ampia e asimmetrica, in tessuto leggero e con stampa graffiante, ho deciso di rendere la canotta protagonista abbinando una semplice mini in tessuto stretch nero, molto anni '80 e zeppe argento open toe. Ho indossato questo outfit durante  per un aperitivo al porto di Riva di Traiano, in provincia di Roma, al tramonto, quando il sole diffonde una luce più calda e sottile e le barche dondolano sull'acqua emettendo quel leggero suono che amo così tanto.
